Itinerary

Fly to Bangkok

Arrive in Bangkok and transfer to the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok for a 2-night stay. Day 3 is at leisure.

Day at leisure. Early evening transfer to the train station and board the sumptuous Eastern & Oriental Express for the 3-night ‘Classic Journey’ to Singapore (Pullman Cabin). (B, D)

Morning cruise on the Kwai river accompanied by a local historian, followed by a visit to a poignant war museum and the war cemetery. Return to the train for lunch and an afternoon at leisure. Dinner is served while travelling through the southern Thai countryside. (B, L, D)

Morning travelling through northern Malaysia followed by a tour of Kuala Kangsar. Disembark for a tour of the grand Ubudiah mosque, the Royal Museum of Perak and the Sultan Shah Gallery. The rest of the day is spent travelling down the Malay peninsula. Relax in the observation car and enjoy dinner and cocktails. (B, L, D)

After breakfast on board, travel across the Straits of Johor into Singapore. Stay at the Fullerton Hotel for 2 nights (upgrades available to the Raffles Hotel). (B)

Day at leisure in Singapore, an easy city to navigate with much to explore including Chinatown, Little India and the redeveloped quay areas. (B)

Transfer to the airport and fly to your next destination. (B)
