Day 1: Fly to Amritsar.

Day 2: Amritsar
On arrival, transfer to RanjitVilas (or similar) for 2 nights. Welcome dinner and evening visit to the Golden Temple for the auspicious Palki Sahib night ceremony. The temple is profusely lit and the lights are beautifully reflected in large water tanks surrounding the sanctum. (D)
Day 3: Amritsar • Wagah
Morning visit to the Golden Temple and the community kitchen called Langar. Weave your way through Qila Ahluwalia, a fort replete with colonial architectural features, before arriving at the Jalebiwala Chowk with its jalebi shop selling delicious sticky sweets. Late afternoon visit to Wagah, for the unmissable Changing of the Guard ceremony. (B)
Day 4: Fly to Varanasi via Delhi
Morning flight to Varanasi for an overnight stay at the Hotel Madin (or similar). This evening, visit the Dasaswamedh ghats to witness the magical Ganga aarti ceremony from a boat on the Ganges. (B)
Day 5: Fly to Delhi
Serene early morning boat ride on the Ganges, followed by breakfast at Brijrama Palace overlooking the river. Walking tour of the Bengali Tola. Take the afternoon flight to Delhi for a 2-night stay at the Trident Gurgaon (or similar). (B)
Day 6: Old & New Delhi
Morning tour of Old Delhi, including a drive past the Red Fort, a visit to the Jama Masjid, and a walking tour of Old Delhi. Afternoon tour of New Delhi including a drive past India Gate and the viceregal residence before visiting Qutb Minar and the tomb of the Mughal Emperor, Humayun. (B)
Day 7: Agra
Take the Gatimaan Express train to Agra for an overnight stay at Trident Agra (or similar). Visit the huge Agra fort and enjoy the highlight of sunset at the Taj Mahal. (B)
Day 8: Fatehpur Sikri • Ranthambore
Morning drive to Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted 16th-century sandstone city. Continue to Bharatpur and take the train to Sawai Madhopur. Transfer to Swai Villas (or similar) for 2 nights. (B)
Day 9: Ranthambore
Wildlife drives in the early morning and late afternoon in search of the elusive Bengal tiger. Although well known for its tiger population, Ranthambore is also home to sambars, panthers, marsh crocodiles, sloth bears and leopards, as well as being a bird watcher's paradise. (B)
Day 10: Jaipur
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur and stay at the Trident Jaipur (or similar) for 2 nights. (B)
Day 11: Jaipur
Optional early morning yoga session*. Morning tour of the ancient palace of Amber fort. Afternoon visit to the City Palace and Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory. (B)
Day 12: Jodhpur • Rohet
Full-day drive to Rohet via Jodhpur. Visit the magnificent Mehrangarh fort and the imposing Jaswant Thada cenotaph. Continue to Rohet and stay at Rohet Garh (or similar) for 2 nights. On the 24 Oct 2019 departure, enjoy the Diwali celebrations. (B)
Day 13: Bishnoi tribal villages
Morning at leisure. After lunch, take a 4x4 safari to visit the Bishnoi tribal villages. The Bishnoi tribe protect the flora and fauna of the area with reverence and as far back as the 16th century they are known to have resisted royal edicts ordering the felling of trees, by literally wrapping themselves around them. (B)
Day 14: Ranakpur • Udaipur
Drive to the lake city of Udaipur, visiting the exquisite Jain temples at Ranakpur en route. Arrive at the Trident Udaipur (or similar) for a 2-night stay. Or upgrade to the Taj Lake Palace (luxury Lake View room) from £440 for 2 nights. (B)
Day 15: Udaipur
Morning tour of the City Palace, Jagdish temple and a miniature painting studio. Afternoon at leisure. Evening Bagore-ki-Haveli cultural show. (B)
Day 16: Departure
Transfer to the airport and fly to your next destination. (B)

- 79 - 40 days before date of departure: 50% of total cost
- 39 - 20 days before date of departure: 100% of total cost
Important: The booking stands liable to be cancelled if 100% payment is not received 20 days prior to departure date and received amount will be fully forfeited.
If you Cancel your Holiday
You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below:
Cancellation charges per person
- 80 days or more before date of departure: 25% of total cost
- 79 - 60 days before date of departure: 50% of total cost
- 59 - 20 days before date of departure: 75% of total cost
- 19 - 1 days before date of departure: 100% of total cost
If we change or cancel your holiday
- We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements.
- Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date.
- We also reserve the right under any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you.
- If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements due to reasons beyond our control (e.g. bad weather):We shall first try to offer alternative dates for the tour if the tour hasn’t already commenced.
- If the tour has already commenced, then we shall refund the booking price/fee charged to you on a pro-rata basis depending on the portion of the tour utilized by you.
- In all circumstances, however, our liability shall be limited to refunding to you the price we charged as tour fees.
If you want to change your holiday plan
After confirmation of services, if you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way (e.g. your chosen departure date or accommodation), we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible. Any request for changes must be in writing from the person who made the booking. All cost incurred due to amendment will be borne by you.
If you have a complaint
If you face any problem during your holiday, please inform the relevant supplier (e.g. your hotelier, transporter etc.) and/or our representative immediately who will endeavour to set things right. If your complaint is not resolved locally, please follow this up within 28 days of your return home by writing to us, with your booking reference and all other relevant information. However, please be advised that while we are happy to assist you in the redressal of your complaint, if any, we will be able to extend only our best efforts in managing/coordinating your complaint with the respective service provider. All third party service providers are independent contractors who are at no time under our control or supervision.
All booking vouchers and tickets will be provided 3 days before departure.
