Days 1-2 : Vancouver
Arrive and make your own way to the Metropolitan Hotel for 2 nights. The next day is at leisure or enjoy a pre-booked excursion.
Day 3 : Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops
You will be transferred to the station to board the Rocky Mountaineer train. Travel to the towering heights of the Coast Mountains and pass the thundering water of Hell’s Gate in Fraser canyon. Transfer to your hotel in Kamloops for 1 night. (B, L)
Day 4 : Rocky Mountaineer • Banff
Board the train and travel alongside the South Thompson river and through the Spiral Tunnels, before arriving into Banff. Stay 2 nights at Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa. (B, L)
Day 5 : Banff
Day at leisure. Alternatively join a shared sightseeing tour of Banff or take a 12-minute summit flight over the Rockies.
Day 6 : Jasper
Full-day shared excursion driving along the Icefields Parkway. Stop at Athabasca glacier for an excursion out onto the ice in an Ice Explorer vehicle. Other highlights include Lake Louise, Peyto lake, Bow lake and the Weeping Wall. Arrive in Jasper and stay at The Crimson.
Day 7 : Rocky Mountaineer to Quesnel
Transfer to the station to board the Rocky Mountaineer train. Pass the steep Rocky and Cariboo mountains, Moose Lake, Yellowhead Pass and the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Mount Robson, before arriving into Quesnel. Transfer to your hotel for 1 night.
Day 8 : Rocky Mountaineer to Whistler
Continue on the Rocky Mountaineer train through varied scenery. You will also cross Deep Creek Bridge, one of the highest railway bridges in the world. Arrive in Whistler and overnight at Delta Whistler Village Suites.
Day 9 : Rocky Mountaineer to Vancouver
Explore Whistler this morning before continuing to Vancouver. Enjoy stunning views of Howe Sound and the Coastal Mountains en route. Arrive into Vancouver and stay at the Metropolitan Hotel.
Day 10 : Onward travel
Make your own way to Vancouver airport for your flight to next destination.
